This micrograph depicts the histopathologic changes found in black grain mycetoma in dog due to Curvularia geniculata.



Curvularia spp. can also be a dangerous when associated with human infections. Such infections are onychomycosis, keratitis, sinusitis, mycetoma, pneumonia, endocarditis, cerebral abscess, and systemically disseminated infections.
